Arguing With Myself...

ME: "Don't do it, do not talk politics on your blog!"
ME: "I can't help myself, I just have to do it!"
ME: "You are gonna make people mad, they do not give a rip about what you think..."
ME: "Sure they do, they leave comments sometimes on what I say."
ME: "I'm telling you not to do it......."
ME: "I can't help myself, just one more time!!"
ME: "Ugghhhhhhhhhhh!"

Sorry guys, if you would rather not hear read me rant, you may just want to look away until after Tuesday. Then again, I might really be in a full blown rant after Tuesday, so you might just want to look away for awhile!!

So what has me all in a tither about the elections?? My goodness, what does not have me in a tither!!!

First off let me begin with these stupid theories stating that Obama will be the winner:

Halloween masks, yep more Obama masks sold this year than McCain masks, thus the sales of these masks have foretold the winner of every election since 1980. My theory, Obama scares the holy mess out of me, so there are lots of folks out there trying to do the same. Hopefully, this one is a bust!

The Kid's vote, they have correctly chosen the winner in 12 out of the last 13 elections. Did they ask my kids??? They should of!! Again, my take on this, is who are you asking anyways, not once has anyone ask my children who they wanted as president, but I know, what you're thinking, kids vote like their parents, that's why this prediction has been right 12 out of 13 times....just maybe this will be the year for redemption!!

T-shirt sales, yep another t-shirt, like we need more t-shirts!! Anyhoo, just maybe this is for the shock value of it all. I know that I like to wear things that make people go...huh? Did they say this was t-shirts favoring Obama or t-shirt making fun of him....again, I feel this one is a toss up!

Book sales, apparently there are books out there for sale that are titled, "How to Win a Fight with a Conservative" and "How to Win a Fight with a Liberal", go figure, and yes, you guessed it. Obama had an edge over McCain of 50.8% to his 49.2% giving him the suggested victory at a whopping 1.6%. So again to me this is a toss up!

So what do all these predictions mean to me? Nothing, because they are predictions. Do they bother me, you betcha! They bother me a lot! Then again, I am one that has not purchased a t-shirt this year, nor a bumper sticker, haven't purchased a book, have not one halloween mask in my possession and no one asked my kids......so, hello......are these predictions really going to hold up?? I hope not!

Here a little poem was sent to me this week, thought I would pass it on...

'Twas the night before elections

And all through the town

Tempers were flaring

Emotions all up and down!

I, in my bathrobe

With a cat in my lap

Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.

When all of a sudden

There arose such a noise

I peered out of my window

Saw Obama and his boys

They had come for my wallet

They wanted my pay

To give to the others

Who had not worked a day!

He snatched up my money

And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon

As I gagged from the stink

He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart

I could tell they were out

To tear my country apart!

'On Fannie, on Freddie,

On Biden and Ayers!

On Acorn, On Pelosi'

He screamed at the pairs!

They took off for his cause

And as he flew out of sight

I heard him laugh at the nation

Who wouldn't stand up and fight!

So I leave you to think

On this one final note-

IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM

GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

I know, I have sunk to the lowest possible place to sink, I am posting poems about the election on my blog, goodness...what has happened to me....
