I am in love with this comforter set for our master bedroom. Not fond of the rooster pillows, and actually roosters in the bedroom just don’t seem right, but I love the comforter set!
The problem, it has a duvet cover. I have never had a duvet cover and I am unsure about it. What are your thoughts?

Love the set! I would give it a shot. Never had one but would not hesitate to give it a whirl. I would be afraid of the roosters - they get kinda loud at sunrise :}
Well what have you had? Comforters? Duvets are easy to clean, just throw them in the washer, unlike a large comforter. Plus, you can change out the down comforter inside to heavier in the winter, lighter in the summer, so it doesn't leave you sweating when you want to be comfortable! I do have one question though....isn't your living room black and white and of the same pattern? Can't remember, but guess it doesn't matter, if you love it, you LOVE it! :)
I think it is too busy but then I am a man and I am happy with a simple electric blanket on my bed. And you can take those extra pillows too. haha

And I'm with you... no rooster pillows in the bedroom. Course;... I could be abit anti rooster right now coz mine keep standing on our welcome matt and pooin on it, so ... roosters... NOT in the bedroom. lol
