First I would like to thank Linda over at 2nd Cup Of Coffee for hosting this carnival. Because of her, my diet now starts today instead of the projected start date of January 5, 2009. My chins, arms and gut says it all....again, thanks Linda!
Next, I will apologize one million times. After uploading the video, my mouth and words do not seem to be acting as one. I am praying that it is my computer and that you will have not problems, but if that is not the case, I will not be offended, if you you have to turn away and not watch. Fortunately, most of my video is not of me, so that helps a lot!!
Last, but certainly not least, I am in the pursuit of finding a good camera, lighting and general HELP for my next performance. Today, I will start running ads in the local paper. I just feel deep down if I had the proper camera, lighting and touch up guy, I would first and foremost look 100 pound slimmer, which of course is my main goal!!
After you are done watching, scoot over to Linda's and watch the countless others that joined in on today's fun!!
Have a great day!!

Oh that Higgins--I love him! Patrice, you did a great job, and I loved seeing the tree. I had a tree in my kitchen once, too. I did it in gingerbread (this was probably 10 years ago). Everything looked lovely, and may I say your hair looked much better today than yesterday. A-hem. :) Thanks for playing along. I hope you enjoy blog hopping today!
What a lovely home. Beautiful Christmas trees. Your doggy sure is cute. No then, you mentioned, "My chins, arms and gut says it all," and I just cannot see it. You are beautiful. I myself am also trying to lose weight, but I just want to be healthy. You look just fine! We are our own worst critics, though, aren't we?
I thought it might have just been the cat tree that Higgins didn't like (I mean, he IS a dog) but since he ate your living room tree decorations, too, can't blame it on the cats.
But you're right, he is cute and it's hard to stay made at a cute pet (or kid) :-)
My dog is naughty too. I found a Hallmark ornament this year of a dog chewing up Christmas lights and when you play it, it plays "Bad to the bone." Perfect! So my dog has his own ornament this year.
Baaaahahahaha!!!! That's great!
Oh. I mean, bad Higgins. You naughty, naughty boy.
Ahem.
we have a 75 pound boxer and a 40 pound golden mix that like to eat the ornaments and anything else they can reach on the tree.
As I walked past the tree this afternoon, looking so bare without gifts under it, I noticed the angel at the top was turned upside down. It had fallen over, dragging the tree top with it. No-one seemed to have noticed. I think it is indicative of our holiday so far.
The Christmas day melee, and the Friday surgery, made for a full holiday.
thanks for sharing.
How funny about Higgins!! I really enjoyed your vblog.
By the way, if you find that camera that makes you look 100 lbs. slimmer, buy more than 1, because I'll be the first in line to purchase one from ya!
Blessings,
Ohilda
WOW! Two trees! They both were beautiful (too funny about Higgins and the decorations)
Blessings

HIggins is the Grinch in disguise. Bad dog, bad dog. :)
That higgins!! He would go along great with my Lily who ate a bunch of my just baked Christmas cookies right off the platter!!! Gotta love 'em!
its nice to see i'm not the only one with a naughty dog today! nice to meet you. what a cheerful blog!
If I weren't in the same room as my sleeping boy, I'd be laughing so hard! I'm visiting from 2nd Cup. Thanks for doing ISWYS!
Higgins, you bad little boy!
You are such a Higgies lover...Thanks for helping with my first blog video. Even though I looked hideous.. I had tons of fun. Which I always do with you.
Luvvies
And by the way I look like an alien in my video it's so blurry..UGH
Flowers on the tree - what a neat touch! Loved the video.
Patrice, you have a beautiful home! I LOVE your choice of colors on the walls...my faves! I am so curious about the writing on the wall in your living room. If I was standing in your house, that would have been the first thing I would walk over to. :-)
But your trees are gorgeous, in spite of their "character." hee hee
Happy New Year!
Too cute. Our daughter's puppy ate a sago palm seed the other night that resulted in a trip to the doggie hospital. I think if Higgins sticks to tree ornaments, you'll be good for a few more months. Loved your video and blog. Lovely home and trees.
Just one more reason my husband says we will never own a dog.
Happy New Year, maybe by next Christmas he'll be better trained/behaved?
Thnaks for stopping by my blog today. I enjoy finding other church secretaries' blogs. Your doggy is cute. Oh, the antics we put up with from our pets.
Higgins, you're gonna become a Christmas ornament if you're not careful!!
cute doggie...
loved your trees!
happy new year...
Aren't dogs great! :) Your trees are beautiful! Does Higgins need his very own tree? Ah, if only that would work! :)
Higgins will never live this Christmas down - or at least you hope not! hehe Fun Vlog!!
Happy New Year!
It is so nice to meet you! I chuckled over your tree issues and quickly buried some memories of tree destruction by cats - one in particular.
I am happy for you and your magical mixer Christmas gift. One day, I'll get one of those... in the meantime at least I have an excuse if my baking fails. It's my hand mixer's fault. Totally.
Your trees are beautiful... the top half anyway ;-) I go with ya on losing 100 lbs. After watching my video I was shocked... I waddle... check it out!
Your doggie is cute :-D
