Reporting In With Not Much

It’s been pretty quiet on the home front with not much going on.  When I say much not is going on, actually lots has been going on, but nothing too blog worthy…if ya know what I mean.  So I will hit some high points of life as of late with a wonderful bullet list!

  • We have been working on the house to get it ready for the market and when I say we, it’s more of the hubby doing it!  :o)  Yep, I have not been much help.  He made a list of things to do and bless his heart, he has been the one getting them done, but I have been crossing them off the to-do list, so maybe that counts for something!  The big task for me is to finish painting the cabinets and then put the knobs on.  I am having a hard time finding the motivation to actually do it, but our date to have it done is quickly approaching!
  • Our oldest is settled in to college.  You would think that he would send me pictures of his dorm, dorm mates, daily life stuff or anything….but no.  So I assume he is living the high life.  I have taken a good friends advice of not calling and trying to wait for him to call me.  I did send a text message and got a really short response.  I guess as soon as the money gets low enough in his bank account, we will get a call.  From the looks of it, that should be any day!
  • The other boys are enjoying life as usual and they never missed a beat with their brother leaving.  Another day to them.  Basically there is nothing exciting going on in with them…which in the life of teenagers, is pretty great!
  • I am leaving to go back to the Dominican on the 30th of this month and I am pretty super excited.   It will be a quick trip to work on some goat stuff.  I will be staying with the pastor daughter of the church in La Cumbre and will actually get to spend Sunday there in the community to worship with them…YAY!!  Also while I am there, I will be checking out some places to live.  Again, I am super pumped.  The only sad thing is my husband and kids could not make the trip and we really wanted to show the kids where we will be when we get there.
  • I got a new camera!  Mine broke so I started is using Bradley’s and then his broke.  I finally whined and complained to Jeremy enough for him to break down and get me the one I really wanted!  He is so super awesome!  The newest member of the family….

I have not got to use it much, but the few picture that I have taken are beautiful!  I will do a post on them soon!

I guess that is all for now.  I would hate to keep on going for the fear of you falling asleep and the chance of you bumping your head as you fell out of the computer chair to the ground!  HA!
